Poem 6 – Dark Waters

I’ve been writing a lot of poems lately, I guess I’m just in a poetic mood. Here’s my newest one. Please comment!

Lights

twinkled

across the bay –

waves,

ripples.

Dark

removed

the feathered mask

she

was old enough

to see

the stars.

Waves,

movements,

screeched calmly

halting

on the

shore.

Blue-and-yellow

figures

fidgeted

with force –

the Black Swan

in her

sleeping bag.

Wading

in the

small expanse of

dark water.
